
The WordPress dashboard is a pretty useless tool if you ask me. I have found some great plugins for WordPress though that add a lot of functionality to it, to make the dashboard useful again. Check out these five great plugins for WordPress and then try to tell me your WordPress dashboard is not better for having added them into the mix.

When I first heard about a place that was selling plugins for WordPress, I was a little depressed by the idea. One of the great things about WordPress is there are so many great plugins and so many great plugin authors out there. You can really find a plugin to do just about anything. However, WPPlugins is not a replacement for how plugins are developed in WordPress. It just gives you a place to get higher quality plugins and also give something back to the plugin developers.
How can you remove the extra RSS feeds that are displayed in your WordPress blog, in the address bar of most modern browsers? On my website, I only want to show my one RSS feed for people to subscribe to. I don’t want to display the comment feed or the separate feed for a category. For me, showing too many RSS feeds is confusing to a novice user. So here is how you can turn off the extra feeds (such as category feeds) in WordPress.
Now most of the time, free applications from Microsoft aren’t worth trying out – but I have found one that really is. Windows Live Writer has to be one of my favorite programs to use to write up new blog posts across my own network of websites. It is really simple to use, and it gets the job done.
