Was able to get a little more Minecraft recording done over the weekend, and here is the fruits of my labor. Today’s episode is all about cleaning up the main room above the mines to give it a more home-like feeling. I’ve put down floors, fancy walls and get some more of the basic necessities up and running. Feel free to leave your comments either here or on YouTube – and while you are at it – subscribe to me on YouTube too!
Manage Multiple Windows on the Desktop
Since going to a two monitor setup – the one thing I have the most trouble with us getting all my windows arranged in a way that I like. You’d think with all the extra screen real estate that would be easy, right? Wrong. Thankfully GridMove is here to save my day. This desktop window manager will let you organize all the open windows on your desktop in just a couple of seconds.
Modern Music Player
There are not a lot of choices when it comes to finding a great music player out there. Clementine is the best modern music player and library organizer that I bet you’ve never heard of. The focus of Clemintine is to be a fast and easy to use program for playing your collection of music.
Efficient Sticky Notes
I love to check out and review sticky note programs. I am a ‘bit of an organizational nut, so anytime somebody sends me a suggestion of a new sticky note program I have to check out – I jump at the chance to download it. Efficient Sticky Notes is another great way to toss out the random sheets of paper you jot things on and start brining your personal notes to your desktop.
Uninstall the Uninstallable

This problem has happened to us all. We try a program, decide we do not need it but something goes wrong when we try to uninstall it. Either the uninstaller of the program in question was poorly written or Windows is borking something up in the process. If you want to uninstall the uninstallable then you need to check out Revo Uninstaller. This program promises to uninstall almost any program out there.
Wunderlist To-Do List Management

Looking for a minimalistic way to keep track of what you need to get done? Wunderlist is a great application for the job. I have tried many of the to-do list mangers out there and Wunderlist is by far the best looking, and possibly one of the most functional I have used.
Notes on Top

I am a junky when it comes to notes. I love taking notes, I love having notes, and really notes are how I am able to get as much as I do done on a day to day basis. With that said, I thought I would give Notes on Top a shot. This freeware program for Windows gives you a simple way to create a checklist and always keep it on top of your other windows.
Windows Live Writer
Now most of the time, free applications from Microsoft aren’t worth trying out – but I have found one that really is. Windows Live Writer has to be one of my favorite programs to use to write up new blog posts across my own network of websites. It is really simple to use, and it gets the job done.
Automatic Wallpaper Background Switcher

Tired of searching for new wallpaper monthly or even weekly, to keep your desktop decorated? Maybe you are looking for a program that will do the work for you? John’s Background Switcher will take your boring desktop and decorate it with photos from a number of different sources automatically.
Replace a Keyboard with a Gamepad

I have mentioned in the past having trouble with using my old Logitech Precision gamepad with some games, or have said I would love the ability to use it with some flash games that are out there. Xpadder, a free program for Windows, has saved the day for me. Xpadder is a kind of keyboard to gamepad translation too.
