Yes, more Minecraft wallpaper!  I kind of wish the game would allow you to live on a planet like this – it reminds me of a mix of Minecraft and Super Mario Galaxy as a mater of fact.

I have been playing a lot of Minecraft as of late.  It is a very addicting little game.  It is so addictive in fact, it has also taken over my desktop a number of times too. So, this week I thought I would share with you this awesome wallpaper I found based around the slimes in Minecraft.

Still mining away my free time in Minecraft here.  If you haven’t checked it out, you really do not know what you are missing.  The game is really addictive and be warned, will suck up all the free time you have.  To feed my Minecraft need while I can’t play, I thought I would find another wallpaper to keep me entertained.  The Minecraft Creeper Wallpaper by Rob-Fox at Deviant Art does just that.  The creeper is there to remind me to get back to work – or he might just blow a chunk out of my desk and myself.

After playing Minecraft for a while, you quickly learn that the scariest thing you can encounter is a Creeper.

One of these things can come out of nowhere and renovate your creations before you know what happens.  Also, by renovate, I mean they blow a big gapping whole in the side of that thing you just spent several hours creating. So, with that said – why not bring the Creeper to your desktop?

I am a big fan of the Green Lantern.  I always have been, since as far back as I can remember.  So, while looking for some post-holiday wallpaper to decorate my desktop with, I figured why not turn towards and old favorite?  This Deviant Art designer deserves a lot of credit because this wallpaper they have created is simply amazing.

If you download the .zip version from the Deviant Art website, you get three different version of this great super hero wallpaper.  There are versions for regular monitors, widescreen monitors and even the iPhone too. 

Just to prove my Green Lantern fan-a-tood a little more – check out this awesome Green Lantern bobble head that now sits next to my monitor (did I mention I had a great Christmas?).

It should be no secret by now, with some of the icons and wallpapers I have shared that I am a big fan of Nintendo and the Mario franchise. With that said, I have found two more great widescreen wallpapers for you to use to decorate your own PC desktop with.

I don’t know any other way to describe my most recent desktop wallpaper selection, other than amazing. On Time, a digital creation from alexiuss over at DeviantArt, makes for a very creative, yet still dark way to decorate your desktop. You can also download the image at 1920×1200 resolution too.

I have found some more great classic video game wallpaper I am sure you will all get a kick out of.  Frogger 3D takes the traditional look and feel of the classic Frogger arcade classic and tilts it up a little ‘bit.

By doing so, we are given a new 3D aspect of the world we have never seen before.  This fantastic wallpaper by Justin Buonvino can be found at, admired and downloaded from DeviantArt.

Here is my wallpaper for the week, a fantastic creation by powerpointer, inspired by the game Portal.

While I have only played Portal a few times, I do have to say it is a pretty fun and creative game.  So – I think the wallpaper really does it justice.  Then again, you probably could have never heard of the game Portal and still enjoy this wallpaper.
