What program should you use to capture PC video game footage? Fraps. While not free, it does do everything I need for it to do. It handles both video and audio capture pretty well (there are a few bugs) but if you can look past that – it is a handy program to have. You can use it for benchmarking, screen capture or video capturing too.

4 Best Minecraft Series
Thanks to my addiction of playing Minecraft, I have found a lot of good (and some not so good) video series on YouTube based around the mining adventure game. So, with a little free time on my hands I thought I would share with you some of my favorites video series I have stumbled upon the last few months.
Digging Terraria
Ready for another game where you dig, build and explore? Terraria is by far much more than just a Minecraft-like game. The developers behind it take the idea of exploring and building and put their own unique twist on it that makes it an enjoyable game to play.

I have been playing a lot of Minecraft lately. It is an awesome little game, that can be very addictive if you are into the idea of surviving in a world all by yourself and building this, that and the other just because you can. However, jumping into Minecraft with no guide at all might be a little intimidating to some. Thankfully though I have found a great tutorial series by a man named Coe that will help guide you through the world of Minecraft.
Super Nintendo Retro Review
Here recently I have been playing games like it the mid-90s all over again. How? Well, I thought it was about time I bought myself a replacement Super Nintendo. My old SNES bit the dust the last time I tried plugging it in (it served me well) so this time I picked up one of the newer models – well as new as a system built in 1997 can be.

Ever wake up with the urge to freeze somebody and then upcut them over and over again? I did. Rather than trying to do the act I previously mentioned, I decided to feed my urges with some Mortal Kombat wallpaper. This fantastic wallpaper I found takes the old Mortal Kombat dragon logo and gives it a modern and polished update.

Steam Powered Gaming
Chances are there are a lot of people out there using Steam right now. For the rest of you though, you might not know that Steam is a place where you can purchase games on the Web, and then download them via their special desktop client. The idea here is to eliminate the need of keeping up with game disks and clutter – and it works, as long as you have an internet connection that is fast enough.

More Free Custom Icons
Over the past couple of years, I have created a lot of free custom video game inspired desktop icons for you all to download. Playstation 3 Energizer Power & Play Charging System
Having picked up two more controllers for the Playstation 3, I needed a better way to charge them. Previously I had just hooked the USB cable up to my PC or to the PS3 to charge. With four controllers though, that was going to be a pain. The solution? I picked up the Playstation 3 Energizer Power & Play Charging System.
At nearly $30, it is rather expensive compared to the other PS3 controller chargers out there today. But then again, each controller costs $50 a piece, so I wanted to make sure I had a charger that would not ruin them and that would work. Energizer is a name I know, so there you go.
