Going for a BlogRush

BlogRushAnybody who knows me well knows I am not usually a sucker for the “get traffic now” schemes out there. Then again, maybe I am missing out on a good deal? Just too soon to tell right now. I want to be proved wrong but I have a feeling I’m going to be disappointed. So while enjoying my temporary sucker status here – I decided to go ahead and give BlogRush a shot.

As you can see – I have added the sidebar widget on my web site and so far I haven’t noticed a darn person leaking in via this deal. It could be too soon to tell though if this is going to be a winer or a loser. Continue Reading →

Add Mirrors to Digg.com

diggmirrors.gifAs many of us do, I get tired of finding a story on Digg, get excited about reading it, and then finding out the Web page has already gone down due to traffic. Every so often, via the comments on Digg you can find mirror links, but I am tired of waiting.

That is why I plugged the Digg – add mirrors script into my Greasemonkey extension for Firefox. It adds a nice small box of mirrors to the side of the link on Digg. From here, if a link is down, I can still get to the content.
