It has been a while since I created any new desktop icons – so I thought this morning I’d give another old favorite Nintendo character the desktop icon treatment. Wario started out as the "other" antagonist to Mario and has since become better known for the wacky short games in titles like WarioWare: Smooth Moves or D.I.Y. Now you can have him decorating your desktop.

There Will Be Brawl
Not often do I find original content that I really like to watch or flock to like a giddy school girl, however every so often I find a diamond in the rough as far as the independent content being delivered out there. That is where the web series There Will Be Brawl comes into play.
This dark, dramatic parody of Super Smash Bros Brawl is just fun to watch for any older Nintendo fans out there. Yes, this web site does come with a warning that the series is not intended for anybody under the age of 17.
A new episode debuts the second Friday of every month over at The Escapist web site, which is where I found the videos in the first place, however you can also find out more about the cast and crew at ThereWillBeBrawl.com.
Zero Suit Samus (and Regular Suit) Desktop Icons
If I had to pick my top ten gaming franchises, Metroid would have to be only second to the Legend of Zelda series for me. So, in tribute to that though (and the fact I wanted to play with creating some more desktop icons) here are both the classic Samus look (suited samus) and Zero Suit Samus icons for your enjoyment.
This time around I included both .png and .ico files (due to your suggestions last time around.) Feel free to use them as you wish. All that I ask is you subscribe to the feed!
The two icons are compatible with the following sizes: 256 x 256, 128 x 128, 64 x 64, 48 x 48, 32 x 32, 24 x 24, 16 x 16. Enjoy, and let me know if you like ‘em or not. Might make a few more.
