In my top ten video games of all time, the Metroid series would have to be somewhere in the top five at least. Due to the popularity of my first Metroid-themed wallpaper find, I thought I would search the Internet for more Samus Aran goodness. Enjoy!
You would be amazed with the stuff I find when I have nothing else better to do than randomly search around online. Need an example? Via this very cool small custom wallpaper site I found this awesome wallpaper version of the final boss battle from Super Metroid.

Looks like the web site where these were hosted went down, however I did find the high-res version and uploaded it here.
Also, found another copy of it here, just in case.
Makes me want to fire up my version of Super Metroid I have on my Wii right now. I was a big fan of the SNES version too (couldn’t tell you how many times I played it all the way through).
