There you have it, now bookmark them all – so you will have them ready for when the time is right.  Oh, and I am betting you are wondering where the “half” comes in?  Well, it really isn’t an instant sound effect, but it is just as satisfying (and I also have it bookmarked with my sound effect collection).  Without further ado…

I would like to know what you think of my site, and I like to let other people know what I think about their sites.  What Rev.iew.me does is organize all that under one tent.

Get Your Web Site Reviewed!

One thing people will either love or hate though, is you must earn enough points before you can ask for your own site to be reviewed.  I have a feeling this is so people don’t sign up, ask for a review, and then you never see them again.  It forces you to be social!

How do you earn points?

You can get one point for posting a review between 100 and 299 words.  You can earn three points by posting a review between 300 and 999 words or by referring a friend to sign up.  Last but not least, you can earn five points if you post a review over 1000+ words.  You can read more about the points system on the points charter they have posted.

How do you spend the points you have earned?

  • It costs 3 points to plug your site on the rev.iew.me plugboard
  • It costs 5 points to add a site to rev.iew.me
  • It costs 5 points to push your site to the front page spotlight

If you earn big points, you can trade them in for big rewards!

  • For 300 points: get one free .com/.net/.org domain
  • For 500 points: get free Star Membership
  • For 800 points: get 6 months free hosting for your website

So as I said before, this is a very exciting new service that looks like it has a lot to offer from head to toe – as long as you are willing to be a productive member of the society around it.  Want to get your web site reviewed or share your opinions about what other people can do to make their sites better?

The Wrong Advices – Lots of tech news, blogging and WordPress stuff to be had here. Great alternative view and look at a lot of this stuff if your tired of the same old crap from your A list collection of bloggers.

thepinkc – Ellie’s work here is totally fabulous, and I would have to say she might be one of the best under appreciated feeds in my entire list of web sites I subscribe to. Lots of tech, advice and optimization stuff here to enjoy.

Unclutterer – Who likes to be cluttered? I know I don’t. I take great pride in my organizational skill but it would be nowhere without sites like Unclutterer which are as inspiring as you can get to get out there and clean the garage, closet or maybe even just your desk.

Weblog Tools Collection – Once I started becoming such a big fan of WordPress this is one site I had to start coming back to again and again because they had more blogging goodies than most. From themes to plugins and even advice tons of fun to be had.

Service Untitled – When it comes to customer relations, nobody knows better than Douglas Hanna. Ever since having him on my podcast back on episode 107 I have been reading his blog religiously.

Soft Tech Reviews – Another tech/news blog, Soft Tech Reviews is one that I stumbled upon by accident via somebody leaving a comment here. The content was captivating, the writing was superb so it made it’s way to my feed subscription list.

Drop the Mike – A web site just added to my feed reader, Mike’s blog is shaping up to be something awesome and a resource any hoster, domainer, or just about anybody else can get something from.

Dueling Analogs – I already told you about one of my favorite online comics, bLaugh. Dueling Analogs would be my second (with both being equal in quality, of course). This one is for anybody who is a fan of video games and short – yet hilarious takes on them.

Firefox Extension Guru’s Blog – Another great Mozilla and Firefox resource, if you like that sort of thing. When looking for web sites like my own FirefoxFacts.com – the gurus work stuck out like a sore thumb that just reeked of awesomeness.
