From time to time, I’ll go to the video game review sites like Gamespot and others to see what is new in the world of video games. Unlike the other areas of tech I seem to be involved in, video games are purely for pleasure and nothing else.
The problem comes in when you want to just get some reviews. You have to battle through popup ads, pretty graphics and ten page articles. If you don’t have much time, and you just want to know how good a game it try No Fuss Reviews.
This site will deliver you what you want, need and love most about video game review sites the easy to read thumbs up or thumbs down. Type in any game title and then the console that it is on and you can get a simple one through ten review of the game.
Another neat feature is, let’s say you don’t know what the title is exactly but you know it is for the Wii and it has "Mario" in the title. just type in Mario, select Wii on the side and it will give you all the Wii games with Mario in the title.

A few weeks back on Firefox Facts I shared with all my technique for saving links to read later. The general idea is to create a “temp” folder in my browser - keep it on my bookmarks bar and then drag URLs into it as I need to. I think I have found a system that beats that hands down.

I have been using Instapaper for the past few days and I love it. No goofy Web 2.0 useless and mind-numbing features I don’t want or need. I just hit one bookmarklet that says, “read later” and it is saved for me. Later on when I have time to read just login to Instapaper.com and you are good to go from anywhere.
If you have any questions out the service, the FAQ is pretty in depth and also I want to toss a big thanks to the creator too.

I’m back with another wallpaper pack. I know some folks - especially those who use their desktops alot - like to have wallpaper that is a little less busy than most. If you feel like you want to get down and dirty and work in the gutter - then this Grunge wallpaper pack might just be for you.
Simple, yet there is something pretty about it all. Then again, that might just be my inter-punk talking again. Have any other good simple wallpapers you like?

I have decided to move away from an application feed reader and back to an Online feed reader. Now there are plenty to choose from, but most of them are ugly and have too many bells and whistles. I tried using Bloglines - but five minutes later I got lost, and just closed Firefox in confusion. That is when I decided to give Rojo a shot.
Rojo does exactly what I want it to do. It let me import my OPML file from FeedDemon. It let me view 100 entries at a time. It doesn’t show me stuff I have already looked at.
When I look out there at reviews, Rojo doesn’t seem that popular. I really don’t have a clue why this is so, because I have loved it thus far. So if you haven’t yet found your perfect feed reader, I would suggest giving Rojo a shot.

Well here is another feature to Hosting Hoopla that I have been working on for a while now. Some people E-mailed me and told me that Hosting Hoopla was too complicated. I can see where they might be coming from with that, so I have created Simple Hoopla!
This new view will give you a single column aggregated resource of the latest Web hosting news and links from a variety of different Web sites. This time though they are all blended together.
As usual, I’ll proably get ignored by the big Web 2.0 blog watchers - but as long as I made a few folks happy, that is good enough for me.
+ Check it Out on HostingHoopla.com!
