Only thing about using WordPress is if you use it on multiple web sites - it is a ‘bit of a pain to update them all at the same time. Thus far I haven’t had too many issues getting things done. Jonathan, how did you come into the wild and wacky world of Web hosting?
I came into the hosting business because I was looking at the web host I was on with the time with a retail site and how much they provided me with support and help. I looked around at other hosting companies and they wouldn’t even touch what this hosting company did for me. So I started learning the ins and outs of the hosting business.
I came across what got me started by accident really I was working for an auction site named Buyselltrades.com and I was looking around for fraudulent and saw a post that said “start your own web hosting company and work from home” that caught my attention as I was looking into starting a web hosting company. Yes, I want to talk to you - the question is do you want to talk to me?
One thing that I have not done in a while is an interview with somebody. In fact, I think it has possibly been a year or longer since I posted one on any of my Web sites I run.
Well, that is all about to change - but I need your help. I want to write and post up a few interviews (maybe weekly, every two weeks, monthly) right here on Mitchelaneous.com.
So I have the drive, the inspiration and the willingness to get this done. What am I missing? I need somebody to talk to. You see that is where you come into the picture.
I don’t care if you are Bob Parsons from Go Daddy or Jimmy down the street with his new Web project. As long as you have something to say and it is somewhat related to the Web development and Web hosting world I would like to talk with you.

Maybe I just really enjoy seeing articles about random numbers, who knows? What I do know though is this is one excellent list of 36 questions to ask your Web host before you jump in and purchase an new Web hosting account. I don’t think enough people consider all the planning that needs to take place before you start paying that $5 a month for a virtual hosting plan. Hopefully - after reading through this, it will give you a few more things to consider.
