Hello civilized world! Since Thursday, I have been without power due to the big storms that crossed north Texas and Oklahoma that night. Best report I have heard thus far was 80 mph winds but I have a feeling it was a lot more than that.
Also with the way things were torn up around here, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out there was some tornadic activity that night as well. Last night I finally got power back here, so I am slowly getting caught up with all that I missed out on. Here are a few photos of the damages:

Everybody around here is OK which is the most important thing, but I might be cutting down and carrying off limbs and trees for a month or so trying to get the outside back to normal.

You know me, I am all about finding the awesome (and free if possible) free file hosting and backup services. This latest one, e-mailed into me as a suggestion to cover has a lot of promise. Uploadingit.com not only gives you a service with a catchy name. It also provides you with 10 GB of free storage space to backup your photos and images for free.

You can upload all of your images and files, manage sort and organize them and then they also provide a few cool ways to share them with family, friends and the world around you. As mentioned before you get 10 GB of disk space for storage. You also get 1 GB of daily bandwidth and you can upload 50 MB per file. They provide support for these file formats:
jpg, jpeg, gif, png, bmp, tiff, psd, pdf, txt, rtf, doc, ppt, csv, xls, swf, xcf, xml, css, dcr, docx, xlsx, pptx, ico, ttf, tif, dxf, dwg, max, 3ds, pdd, psp, dng, ai, htm, html, rss, atom, eml, pages, dot, dotx, info, svg, cdr, zip

Here’s the first set of photos from the big Barton wedding that happened yesterday. Sean and Monica pulled it off perfectly - and I’m sure I’ll be pushing out even more photos via SB-1 Online in the next few weeks (as they come in). Three cheers for everybody’s favorite hyphenated hero SB-1 and the Adidas loving punk princess herself - Miss Mo.

Well I joined the tumblr bandwagon and got myself a place to tumble! I was never too good at cartwheels, but this it turning out (pun intended) to be pretty fun.
So what is a tumblelog? Does this make me a tumblelogger? Do I have to dress up like a lumberjack for your amusement? As always Wikipedia answers everything…
A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. Unlike blogs, this format is frequently used to share the author’s creations, discoveries, or experiences without providing a commentary.
I am still tweaking a few things here and there on mine - will probably edit it some more this weekend when I have a little more free time. It is turning out to be a pretty addictive experience.
So go Watch Mitch Tumble and make sure you subscribe (to the special RSS feed) as well so you never miss a stumble, fall, trip, tumble of mine.
If you have one - drop me a comment and let me know about it.
