I recently did some reorganization of my various video game collections – to make things a little more manageable. Sorting most of the newest game systems seemed to make sense. Here is the top drawer in my filing cabinet collection which has all my PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, NES, Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games.
The PSP, Nintendo DS and NES games fit in really nicely. The Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games though have to be just tossed into a plastic bin – for the sake of keeping them in the same general area.
For the Nintendo DS, I have: Brain Age, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, New Super Mario Bros (missing from picture), and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
For the PSP I have: Lumines, World Poker Tour, Burnout Legends, Twisted Metal: Head-on, Mega Man Powered Up, and Ultimate Ghosts ‘n Goblins.
For the NES I have: Bad Dudes, Super Mario Bros 2, Pro Wrestling and Batman
For the Gameboy I have: Arcade Classic 3: Galaga/Galaxian, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Arcade Classic 2: Centipede/Millipede, Paperboy, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, Mega Man IV, Metroid II: Return of Samus and Final Fantasy Adventure.
For the Gameboy Adance I have: Metroid: Zero Mission, The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Fire Pro Wrestling 2, Final Fantasy IV Advance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Metroid Fussion, and Earthworm Jim.
Also in the drawer (between the Nintendo DS and PSP games) are a handful of PSP demo discs I got for being a member of PlayStation’s Gamer Advisory Panel.
Maybe not the biggest, nor the best collection out there – but I like them all. Stay tuned for more video game drawers in the future. I’m only getting started here.
