Changed Mitchelaneous.com a ‘bit. You like? Still not done yet with all of the editing I would like to do – but I’d like to take a few hours off from working on it to get some feedback if you have any.
Also if there is anything you would like to see where that isn’t here already – leave a comment and let me know. I’ll be taking in all the feedback shortly and hopefully once all is said and done will have a finished product that all will enjoy.
Re-designed my archives for Mitchelaneous today…
This was all done with the help of the WordPress category tags and the Smart Archives plugin. Didn’t really realize it till today, but I have posts going all the way back to 2004. So if you want an easier way to browse my site – headline by headline feel free to try this out.
This web site has been around for a while – but as you haven’t noticed I have always kept things very basic here. What does that mean?
No about page. Contrary to the name, I didn’t want this blog to be totally about me. So for those who are new – or for those of you who have always wondered this is why you are reading this.

Mitchelaneous started being hosted over at Lockergnome’s now defunked blogging service through Blogware. I mainly wanted to try my hand at running a blog – and being a writer for Lockergnome helped me in more ways than one. It was a good way to get some more traffic to me and to get some people talking about me. I was one of those guys who was lucky do get 5 people a day – now I was dealing with hundreds. If you can see this, that means my move from web host to web host was a success! I’ve decided to move away from my home for the past few years, Hostaga to my account over at FastServers.net due to technical reasons.
I want to thank the folks over at Hostaga for hosting me for such a long time and if your looking for a host, I would recommend them. For better personal organization though wanted to get Mitchelaneous.com moved over to this server. Might take me a while to get back to posting so I can check and see if everything is working once the propagation of the domain is done -but hang in there, I shall return.
It is always interesting to see what posts make the popular list and which ones do not. For obvious reasons, my post on Candice Michelle wallpaper is a traffic grabber for obvious reasons.

Change is good every so often, right? I have just finished doing some spring late summer cleaning on Mitchelaneous. Just mainly wanted to give things a new look for the next few months and clean up some of the crap on the layout I wasn’t really that excited about anymore.

After hearing complaints about people thinking the old Web site design was ugly, I decided to tinker for a little with the layout last night and here is what I came up with. It is a little better looking, but still very readable. I will probably continue to tweak it when I have a few free minutes here and there for the next few days. Leave me your thoughts and let me know what you think of it.
I was thumbing through some of my statistical information on my RSS feeds (via FeedBurner) and I thought these might be interesting to share.
Now some people might say I shouldn’t “release this type of information to the public”. Personally, I don’t care. It is fun to watch where things are growing and falling as far as popularity goes. If I tried to follow each rise and move up from there, I’d go crazy. I think I would be better off just doing what I have been doing thus far.
