Well, last week was one heck of an interesting week for me - lot of crap going on this way and that way, but I think I’ve got my plate cleared off and ready to start over again this week. Much of what went on I don’t think I’ll make public - not because it is bad but because it just ain’t any of your business.
Due to me being one busy mofo - I’m going to be leaving my writing duties over at Lockergnome. I still love Lockergnome and the crew, but it’s just not something my heart is in right now and that I have the time to do. Hopefully that will leave me a little more time to spread out to other projects and other things I have been meaning to do.
So yeah, things have happened - don’t want to talk about them - so why write? Just felt like I should at least let that one tidbit of information out there to the public. Now back to your regularly scheduled Mitchness.

The world of Web development is one that I will never grow tired of.
There is always something to learn and something out there to learn from. Here are a collection of my articles and posts for this week’s Lockergnome Web Developers newsletter.
Do you know of something or want to see something covered that I have not tackled before? Just drop me an E-mail and let me know. I’d be more than happy to help answer a few questions for folks as well along the way if I can.

For some time now, I have been pretty much the meat and potatoes of the Lockergnome Web Developers newsletter. I figured, why not take a break - and share with you some of the most recent stories and posts I have made there in the past week?
Like what you see? Make sure you subscribe to the Lockergnome Web Developers newsletter or RSS feed to get this kind of action in your inbox every single week.

I have been helping Matt with a few things here and there on a new project, and he was nice enough to make mention of it via Lockergnome’s IT Professionals. Here is what he had to say:
Actually, perhaps this is something that he could also do for others as a business? Not so much a tech support type of thing, rather a guy who comes along and helps out “ding-dongs” such as myself when they find themselves in a pinch. I really don’t think that at this point his schedule would permit such a thing, but I do believe that it presents an interesting idea if nothing else…
I don’t know if I could make a business around it. I just like doing favors for folks and tinkering with things here and there. It could lead into a WordPress blog about WordPress - but they will have to be put on the back burner for right now. I think I am busy enough right now as it is.
On the other hand, I can be talked into just about anything if somebody was willing to pay enough.

I was clearing out some of my old articles I had written in the past, and I ran across this jewel that I wrote over a year and a half ago. This was cut out of my first eBook Lockergnome’s Guide to Web Hosting by myself. Why? I thought it might be a little “on the edge” for your average person interested in learning more about Web hosting. Read the rest of this entry »
