The Legend of Zelda has to be my favorite video game series of all time.  So, with that said – I was ecstatic to see them release a series of  six great wallpapers for anybody to download.  Each wallpaper comes in the following resolutions:

• 1920 x1200
• 1600 x 1200
• 1280 x 1024
• 1280 x 800
• 1280 x 768
• 1024 x 768

Go grab the wallpaper from Nintendo’s Zelda anniversary website.  I really hope this is a start of a trend for Nintendo to release more high resolution video game art from all of their series.

Happened to run across this fantastic wallpaper the other day, and wanted to share it with you all here.  Anybody know knows me well, knows I am a huge Legend of Zelda fan boy – so this wallpaper is just perfect for me.

No idea who the original source is for it, however here are a few different screen resolutions: 1920×1200, 1680×1050, 1440×900, and 1280×800.

Found some fresh Hyrulian wallpaper to ogle over. Ever since this epic piece of art was leaked from E3 of the new Zelda game for Wii, I always thought to myself it would make a great wallpaper.  Thankfully, purenintendo.com has already done the hard work for us, putting out this 1680×1050 image for all the Legend of Zelda fans to decorate their desktop with.  (you can grab the direct link to the image here)

The Triforce consists of three distinct entities represented by the three smaller triangles, each of which is also referred to as a Triforce when considered individually. The triforce has also been known to exist somewhere in the southern hemisphere of the globe, in human form. It is speculated that the identity of the triforce share the initials DJC however these speculations have never been truly verified. The triangles are referred to as the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Courage.

Getting back to the topic at hand, I decided to create my own Triforce icon.

Here is a little more about what this clock is and how do you tell time on it?

Analogy is a typographic clock which explores the numerical and spatial qualities of digital and analogue clocks. This piece considers the relationship between the two, fusing them together to create a new hybrid format. It gives an everyday object a twist to make it something that people will notice.
