Zelda Fans? Here is Your Own Personal Triforce Icon!

I have been a big fan of The Legend of Zelda series of video games for a long time, but could not for the life of me find and nice desktop icon of the Triforce.  For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about, Wikipedia comes to the rescue:

The Triforce consists of three distinct entities represented by the three smaller triangles, each of which is also referred to as a Triforce when considered individually. The triforce has also been known to exist somewhere in the southern hemisphere of the globe, in human form. It is speculated that the identity of the triforce share the initials DJC however these speculations have never been truly verified. The triangles are referred to as the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Courage.

Getting back to the topic at hand, I decided to create my own Triforce icon.

Download the Triforce Desktop Icon (.ico and .png)!

The icon comes in both png and ico formats, and the following sizes:  256 x 256, 128 x 128, 64 x 64, 48 x 48, 32 x 32, 24 x 24, 16 x 16.  Hope you enjoy! (Just in case there are any other Zelda fans out there reading)

An Odd Way to Tell the Time?

Ready for a riddle? See if you can tell me what time it is here…

analogy-clock

Here is a little more about what this clock is and how do you tell time on it?

Analogy is a typographic clock which explores the numerical and spatial qualities of digital and analogue clocks. This piece considers the relationship between the two, fusing them together to create a new hybrid format. It gives an everyday object a twist to make it something that people will notice.

They say a screensaver is coming soon - which is what I am waiting for personally. How about you? Check out the Analogy clock at Jessonyip.com.

Legend of Zelda Movie Trailer?

Out of all the April Fools Day jokes that made their way around yesterday, only one made me really sad. After watching the trailer that IGN put out for the “New Legend of Zelda” movie I was so excited - but damn, I had to look up at the calender and be reminded of the fact that I too was made a fool.

I want it to be real! Just in case you missed it, I had some fun on Firefox Facts for April Fools Day too. Of course by some of the comments, I am not sure that some people checked their calendars at all yesterday.

Lost My Mind, Found a WordPress Theme!

Lose My Mind WordPress Theme

It is not that often I find a WordPress theme that impresses me - so mark this date on your calendar of choice because it is a special occasion indeed. I really like the LoseMyMind 1.0 theme. It is simple, yet not too simple. Clean, but still gives you some features. As I look towards redesigning a few of my projects, I might just have to keep this theme in mind.
