The latest site of mine to get a re-design, is Mitchelaneous.com. The basics are the same, but I really wanted a black layout. I had never had one before - and well, hey it is mine, so I can do what I want. (hehe) Coming next month will be my four year anniversary of starting it up too.

Hope you enjoy, and if you just subscribe to the RSS feed - that works too. For those of you who go out of your way to both visit the site and subscribe to the RSS feed - you my friend, are awesome. Give me your feedback on the theme and any general thoughts you might have about the content here. What do you like, what do you hate, what do you want to see more of? Let me make you happy.

Want to know a little more about the world of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and design? Here are some great places to get started.
Know of anymore great links? Leave a comment on this post, and share with the rest of the group. Really looking forward to seeing which ones you like the best.

Decided to hook my old monitor up next to my new one, since my new PC can handle both. At first it was a little odd but I do have to say I feel more productive at least.

It makes it much easier to check e-mail, browse the Web and work on an article all at the same time. Of course right now I am still amused by moving windows from screen to screen but I am sure that will pass with time.

This is a really nice and really dark WordPress theme that I really like. Is that enough “really” for you to give it a shot? I’ve been looking at a lot of WordPress themes lately and have come to realize there are a lot out there - just not a lot of really good ones.
Here’s a little description taken from the designers:
After a huge success of our theme called “ygo lonely”, we have come up with this - a slightly twisted version of the same named YGo Loner. It is again a 3 column wordpress theme with black and grey as the dominating colors. The page links are on the top bar with title and description towards the left. Two grey lines outline, the header, intelligently merging it with the body of the text.

Well with all of this talk about the Web Hosting Show about to begin it’s third year of bringing audio content to the Web hosting industry - I figured it was about time to give the Web Hosting Show’s Web site a new look and theme.
Yes, we are saying goodbye to year two and hello to year three with an entire new design on WebHostingShow.com.
If you still see a few new things creeping up, don’t mind me - I am just putting the finishing touches on the layout. I do have to say though that this one is so far my favorite of all the “looks” the Web Hosting Show has had.

So let me know what you think, and if there is anything you would like to see added - please be my guest and suggest. This Web site is as much yours as it is mine, so if you want to see something here please let me know.
Opinions, suggestions, ideas and complaints are always welcome.

A good friend of mine, Kooshin needs a few more Web site designs to add to his portfolio - so I told him I would toss him a free plug. He is looking to design a few Web sites (for free) and right now just needs some inspiration. So if your Web site looks a little drab and you think it could use a good kick in the pants, he is the man to contact.
I have met a lot of people both inside and outside of the industry, but I have to say Kooshin is one of the coolest thus far. Always willing to hit me up with an instant message just to say hi, I am more than willing to hopefully point a few of you in his direction.
If you want to check out some of his work - you can do so via his Web site KooshinDesigns.com. Just this afternoon he was showing me one layout that had a lot of promise here, and I know he has a few more good designs just itching for some inspiration.
The only stipulation that he told me about was that he would like for you to keep a link back up on your Web site to him for the design credit. I will leave you and him to work out the rest of the small details.
So shoot him over an E-mail at sales@kooshindesigns.com if your interested and if you take him up on the offer let me know how it works out!
