There is no doubt in my mind that Red Dwarf was one of the greatest television sitcoms of all time. Originating from a recurring radio sketch, Dave Hollins: Space Cadet, this show about an odd band of misfits traveling through space, was beyond awesome. With that said, I thought I would share with you my top ten Red Dwarf moments, from it’s eight seasons.

Think you have it tough? You ain’t got it tough. The people who have it tough are on SimplyFailed.com. This is an entire web site dedicated to the idea of not succeeding. You can become a fan of them via Facebook, Follow them via Twitter, read through the stories or post your own.

This has to be the trippiest use of Twitter I have seen yet. TweetRad.io will let you listen to what others are tweeting about, using what they call “tweet-to-speech” technology. Pick one of the options they have featured across the top of the page, tech, news, sports, funny, featured or search for any phrase then wait a few seconds. Soon, your browser will be displaying and reading tweets out to you.
Just in time for Halloween, how would you like to get a casket? Filed under the really weird things you can get from Walmart – we have the Lady de Guadalupe casket. Yes, apparently you can order a number of caskets from Walmart.com. Think ranks up there in the weirdness level of the gallon of whole milk from Amazon.com.
Sticking with the recent “instant” sound effect ‘kick I’m in, I have another one of my favorite sound effect sites to share with you. The Emergency Yodel should only be used, well – in the case of an emergency, of course. Brought to you by Archie McPhee, (the same one who brought you the inflatable turkey and handerpants) this web site gives you that yodel your just itching to hear. What, you don’t have uncontrollable urges to hear random yodeling? In that case, you are just a little odd, my friend.
Maybe, I could interest you in some instant Billy Mays instead?
Always be ready for miracle, a great thing to happen, or a choir singing hallelujah because you did something great with InstantHallelujah.com. All you have to do is click the button (you have the choice of the long or short version, depending on the greatness that is going on) and be ready next time the unthinkable happens.
Going into my favorite sound effect web sites hall of fame today is InstantTrap.com. In the same spirit as the drama button or Muwhahaha.com, this web site lets you warn you friends, family members and co-workers of the impending danger that is upon them.
I have no idea why or how this became such a popular Internet meme, but it is a fun one – I’ll give you that. Just think, if it wasn’t for Admiral Ackbar (not to be confused with Skandor Akbar) we would know it really was a trap.
I can’t take credit for finding this, however it was too awesome to pass up. What happens when a cheating orange gets caught? Nothing but trouble, my friend.
Having worked in the world of support for many years, this “cheat sheet” just made me giggle. The xkcd web comic series has pretty much hit the mark when it comes to how you can really solve 95% of the problems out there.
Recently, I’ve spent more than my fair share of time turning away from the TV and looking towards the Web for entertainment. Now, I know how horribly the sounds like a Web 2.0 cliche, but before you search for your proverbial mallet to whack my with first let me show you what it is I’ve been watching.
I got my first taste of the awesome content that Cinemassacre delivers by finding (and then later watching) a few episodes of the Angry Video Game Nerd. By far, it is probably my favorite series from the web site – but some of the miscellaneous content like Board James and You Know Whats Bull Sh*t is just as funny and entertaining to watch.

How could a web site named after the famous Metroid attack go wrong? It can’t. Looking at both new and old school games, ScrewAttack has your classic reviews, top ten lists and even submissions from their fans that make it onto the site. If you’ve grown up as an 80’s child, and still have a love for both new and old games – this site is definitely one worth checking out.

This is the most recent one I have stumbled upon and started watching. Once again, we kind of go to all of our loves of watching something old, with the most popular series from the site being the Nostalgia Critic. The entire web sit though is filled with videos that are well thought out, well produced and will leave you wanting to watch more.
