Now, unsolicited email marketing has left a bad taste in all of our mouths, however marketing your goods and services to people who have asked for updates can be a fantastic way to bring new eyeballs to your website or keep people informed of what you are doing.

Better Freebie Marketing
We have all been a part of freebie marketing, probably without even knowing it. Your standard freebie marketing is when you are sold stock items at a lower cost (or they are given away for free) so you will pay more for the product the free things are for. The most popular examples of this would be printer ink and a printer, or disposable razor blades and the stick you put them on. People are starting to catch on to these tricks though, so I say it is time to reinvent the freebie marketing business model and make it more useful.

Mega Man Death Match?
Yeah, it might be a ‘bit of a bizarre idea – but it is a lot of fun to play. The demo has been released for Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match. I didn’t have high expectations for this simple Doom mod, but I was really blown away by how much fun it was.

NoteTab – Favorite Notepad Replacement
I have tried all the alternatives when it comes to simple text editors and Notepad replacements on Windows. For some reason though, I keep coming back to NoteTab as my simple text editor of choice. It does everything I need it to do, and makes it simple to hide the features I don’t really need.
Free Image Editing on Paint.NET
Of all the image editing programs out there, Paint.NET is slowly becoming my favorite. Not only is it totally free, but it really stand the test against a lot of expensive image editing tools when it comes to functionality too.
Mad Libs Online?
I used to love filling out those Mad Libs booklets you could pick up at the school book fairs when I was younger. I just happened to think the other day, “Hey, this would be something really easy to do online” but unfortunately the Internet has let me down. Now most of the time, free applications from Microsoft aren’t worth trying out – but I have found one that really is. Windows Live Writer has to be one of my favorite programs to use to write up new blog posts across my own network of websites. It is really simple to use, and it gets the job done.
