Looking for a fun arcade-like sports title you can play with four of your closest friends? The new NBA Jam for the Nintendo Wii is out, and it is a lot of fun to play – as long a you are careful not to throw any real elbows on the couch as you get shoved to the court.
NBA Jam – Better Than Original?
Space Invaders HD Wallpaper

Want to take a retro trip backwards in video game land, while also adding a little ‘bit of HD polish into the mix? That is what this wallpaper, oddly named Cathodic Precision will do for you.
Bring Ms Pac Man to Your Desktop

Keeping with my recent gaming wallpaper kick I’ve been on, I thought I would share with you not one, but three Ms Pac Man wallpapers I stumbled upon the other day. I really like the whole “giving a 3D look to classic games” style of design, and this selection of wallpaper goodness brings the classic Ms Pac Man game to a whole new dimension.
Download Tons of Abandoned Games for Free!

How would you like to have a resource in hand that would deliver to you over 2,000 classic games for free – with no strings attached? My Abandonware is the resource you will want to bookmark and save for just that occasion. While the legal line with abandonware is a little fuzzy, this resource has plenty of fun classics to try out – before they get slapped with some sort of lawsuit from somebody.
I’m Batman (the Wallpaper)

Since I started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PS3, I have been on a Batman kick. To help satisfy my bat-needs while I’m on my bat-computer, I figured I’d go out and seek some bat-wallpaper. This excellent old school batman logo design really looks nice, and it fits my new monitor’s 1920×1200 screen resolution very well.
Go check it out and download it over at DeviantArt.com.
Hundreds of Atari 2600 Cartridges

Searching for an old Atari 2600 cartridge scan? When I put together the Atari 2600 cartridge wallpaper, I used this web site as my source. AtariAge.com has a ton of old Atari game cartridge, boxes and more all scanned into their archives.
While most kids my age were playing on the original NES, at the time I was having a fun time with a lot of these classic Atari 2600 games. Also, some of the art on them are amazing. They almost have complete painted portraits on the cartridge, and you just don’t see that type of craftsmanship on modern game boxes these days.
So if you are looking to take a trip down video game memory lane, be sure to head on over to AtariAge.com.
Create Polaroid-like Photos Easily

Rollip will allow you to upload, edit and create your own Poloraoid-like photos from any image on your computer.
Looking for a way to get that great old Polaroid photo look, without the old fashioned camera? Say what you will about the crappy film, however, to me at least, it always felt like a step backwards moving from Polaroid to 35mm film – because sure, the photos looked better, but they were not instant. Plus, who doesn’t miss waving their photo in the air (and sometimes even blowing on it) because an uncle’s niece’s friend that you knew from his brother’s sister told you it helped them develop faster.
Try it out on Rollip.com, and take a trip back to the way photos used to be.
Superman is Such a Jerk!
Who knew Superman was such a big jerk? Thanks to Superdickery, now I do. This collection of classic comic book covers has tons of entertainment value.
Here are a few of my other favorites I have stumbled across:
- Superman Kills Some Random Old Man
- Least Threatening Monsters Ever
- People Starving in the World? Jimmy Cares Not
- Lois’ Head in a Box
It is crazy to look back at some of these and wonder what exactly they were thinking when they came up with these covers. Of course, the commentary from Superdickery just makes it even better.
Now one of my favorite places to kill time, I salute you Superdickery.com in all your oddness.
Watch Night of the Living Dead for Free!
What says October more than one of the greatest zombie movies of all time. I don’t care who you are or what you do – there is no zombie movie better than the original 1968 Night of the Living Dead. The other day I just happened to cross the full movie up on Google Video (probably due to the copyright on it running out many years ago).
What is your favorite scary movie? Night of the Living Dead would be in the top ten, no wait – top five for me. How about you?
