Risk: Factions

Risk Factions Review

I downloaded Risk: Factions the other day while looking for another good multiplayer game on the PlayStation Network that wasn’t a beat ‘em up and I have to say, I was really impressed. For anybody who has played the board game, the objective is pretty much the same ol’ game.  The have added enough new and interesting twists though to keep you coming back and playing again and again.

NBA Jam – Better Than Original?

NBA Jam ReviewLooking for a fun arcade-like sports title you can play with four of your closest friends? The new NBA Jam for the Nintendo Wii is out, and it is a lot of fun to play – as long a you are careful not to throw any real elbows on the couch as you get shoved to the court.

Have a Wii Party

Wii Party Review

While looking for more group-based games for the Wii, I stumbled upon Wii Party.  As long as you don’t set your expectations too high – this is a great group-based game for the Wii.  Like the Mario Party games before it, it is meant to be played with a large group of people rather than by yourself, and will take you through several types of games to play – with a few mini games thrown in for good measure.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Review of Castlevania for the PS3

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow didn’t have to work too hard to beat the last free roaming 3D Castlevania adventure I remember, Castlevania 64.  This most recent reboot of the Castlevania series far surpasses that mess, and actually delivers a really awesome game.  Now, some Castlevania traditionalist might miss the old look and feel of the other Castlevania games, but I like the fact they are trying a different approach.

Steam Powered Gaming

Steam Game Download Review

Chances are there are a lot of people out there using Steam right now.  For the rest of you though, you might not know that Steam is a place where you can purchase games on the Web, and then download them via their special desktop client.  The idea here is to eliminate the need of keeping up with game disks and clutter – and it works, as long as you have an internet connection that is fast enough.

Mega Man Death Match?

MM8BDM

Yeah, it might be a ‘bit of a bizarre idea – but it is a lot of fun to play.  The demo has been released for Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match.  I didn’t have high expectations for this simple Doom mod, but I was really blown away by how much fun it was.

EA Store Digital Download Review

Shopping on EA Store

Now, most of the time – when I purchase a game or a movie, I like to have the disc it came on too.  However, not to be totally closed minded to the game download services out there, I thought it might be fun to try downloading a game from the EA Store website.  Overall, the experience wasn’t too bad.

Fat Princess Pirate Class Guide

Fat Princess Pirates Time to shiver me timbers in the land of the fat princesses!  The Pirate class was another new class introduced with the Fat Princess: Fat Roles DLC pack on the PlayStation 3.  If you have ninjas, you just need to have pirates – right?  Without, it is like having peanut butter without the jelly.

So we know the Pirates in Fat Princess dance a little jig, and do say, “Arr!” in a really cute way. How do you really play at the Fat Princess pirate?  Hopefully, this guide will help you out in that department.

Fat Princess Giant Class Guide

Giant Class Guide Another class introduced in with the Fat Princess: Fat Roles DLC pack on the PlayStation 3 was the Giant class.  This one was a ‘bit of a curve-ball because nobody knew the Giant was even really a concept character till the release of this DLC pack.

We had seen concept art for ninjas and pirates, but how do you storm the enemies’ castle with a giant?
