Over the past couple of years, I have created a lot of free custom video game inspired desktop icons for you all to download. While keeping a running list of these on one page worked for a while, I figured it was about time I cleaned up and organized my free icon collections I have created for you to enjoy.
Just in time for Halloween, how would you like to get a casket? Filed under the really weird things you can get from Walmart – we have the Lady de Guadalupe casket. Yes, apparently you can order a number of caskets from Walmart.com. Think ranks up there in the weirdness level of the gallon of whole milk from Amazon.com.
One thing I was able to get started on this weekend, and finished up just a few minutes ago was the new layout for MitchKeeler.com. Being the most static of the bunch, MitchKeeler.com doesn’t just serve as my online resume – oh no. It is the place to go if you want to know more about what it is I do, and how to get in touch with me. More updates to come to that web site (as soon as I find that mysterious 25th hour in the day) so stay tuned, and let me know what you think of the new re-design thus far!
What have I been hard at work at this weekend? A brand new layout for Mitchelaneous, my blog for tech tips, web development and geeky entertainment. Based on the Press Box theme, I think this new layout is easier to navigate and read, but just as feature rich and useful as the old look was.

Having worked in the world of support for many years, this “cheat sheet” just made me giggle. The xkcd web comic series has pretty much hit the mark when it comes to how you can really solve 95% of the problems out there.
I really don’t know what else to say about this…
Yes, this Cheeto has a back story. Apparently, somebody says it looks like Jesus? Looks like an upside down “F” to me , am I not trying hard enough?
I don’t know if that is odder, or the fact that somebody wrote a guide on how to sell a potato chip that looks like a celebrity. Thank you Internet.

To end this fine week, this is why you never sneak up on a luchador:
Vampiro says on July 7th, he was asleep in his Guadalajara home when several men broke in and tried to kidnap him. Police were patrolling the area and saw the garage door, front door and windows all broken out and called for immediate back up.
The men jumped out of one of the windows in the home. Vampiro was asleep when officers kicked in his bedroom door, waking him up. Vampiro says he didn’t know at first they were police, thinking they were intruders with weapons, so he jumped out of his second floor bedroom window, falling 15 feet to the ground.
He broke four vertebrae in his middle and lower back and re-injured the two herniated discs in his neck, but thankfully is still alive and kicking.
That concludes your crazy Luchador story of the day.
I just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a happy and safe 4th of July. I know Independence Day (the holiday, not the movie) is not till tomorrow – but how can you not start the celebration today with a little Hulk Hogan, apple pie, and “Real American” music?
