Always in search of the next best thing in free hosting, I happened to run across rapidpik. Now I have only played with it for a little ‘bit, but it could very well be the simplest uploading tool with the most features.
You should know the basic song and dance by now. You choose your picture, you upload it and you can share it. This service is much of the same. Once you upload the image you are given the option to “edit” it. Only editing you can do for now is changing the name.
Once you have done that, you are given the final result as a URL. You can check out my test one one to see an example of the final product in action: http://rapidpik.com/show/4406/jd9gf
Some of the nice features here are that you can share the image using a number of social services, you can view the image in all kinds of different sizes and you also get a flash player (which comes in handy if you upload multiple images at one time). So if your looking for another free image host to add to your favorites - give rapidpik a shot.

There is no doubt that image hosts these days are coming a dime a dozen. Fumpr is yet another service you can add to that ever growing list of free image hosting providers, and they cut out all the details, fuss and more. You have an upload button, and a “browse to my file” box. That is it.. well, OK they have a huge logo too.
As you can see, after you have uploaded your image you can share the URL with friends, download, embed it into a web page of your own or grab the forum ready code. Might also want to check out their sister service too, Fix Up My Pic.

You should all know by now I am a glutton when it comes to the free file hosting services out there. I just can’t seem to get enough. The newest service to fill my file sharing gut would be Filemail.com. The actual file uploading and sharing part of the site is very slick looking. You have an e-mail/uploader interface that works well together. Here it is in all it’s glory…

This is the e-mail like interface, that lets you quickly drop in an address and then a message to your buddy your sending the file to.
This second section of the upload interface gives you an easy to understand interface when it comes to setting permissions, limits and uploading the files you wish to share. If you like the service I would suggest that you register - but for those who do not wish to you can send up to 2GB without doing so.
Filemail.com is it a hit or a miss?

It is always a good sign when a web site has a name you could use as a way to describe it. You know, such as grab me a Pop-tart instead of grab me a toaster pastry. To add to that list, we have File Qube. I am sure it is these guys dream to have you one day say, “Hey go stick that in your File Qube” and after checking it out, you might just be doing that in the near future.
File Qube is a free online storage spot that allows you to upload your files and share them with your friends, family and other random strangers. Your max filesize per upload is 150 MB and if you sign up they bump it up to 500 MB. Also after signing up you get 2 GB of disk space to use for all of your uploads.

Check out some of the other features and then sign up to give it a shot.

You know me, I am all about finding the awesome (and free if possible) free file hosting and backup services. This latest one, e-mailed into me as a suggestion to cover has a lot of promise. Uploadingit.com not only gives you a service with a catchy name. It also provides you with 10 GB of free storage space to backup your photos and images for free.

I have another free hosting tool that you might want to give for a spin. UploadPedia is the most recent to catch my attention. You can upload up to 100 files at once, with the max being 100 MB. One interesting thing that they do is list all the top downloads and recent downloads that have been added to their service. If you are looking for privacy, this might not be the uploader for you. They do have a way to password protect your uploads though, so you don’t have to share if you do not want to. You can also search the files that have been uploaded too. From their terms of service, it looks like they accept any type of file, as long as it is not pornographic or copyrighted (or I guess both).
