Due to the large number of videos I’ve been creating for my YouTube series – I had to go pick up a new external hard drive to back up my videos on. After doing some quick comparison shopping, I decided to go with the Western Digital WD Elements external hard drive.
If you are looking for a external drive you can simply plug in and use – this is the one to get. Most external hard drives I looked at had crummy backup software installed, which is something I did not really need. I just needed to plug it in and drag video files from Mitchcraft over to it. I got the 2TB model, but sizes range from 500GB to 3TB if needed.
It is currently sitting under my monitor right now, makes absolutely no noise and looks very sleek with it’s all black interface. You won’t have to worry about it sticking out like a sore thumb. So if you are looking for an external hard drive to do some quick backups of your own, I would highly recommend checking out the Western Digital WD Elements drive.
