Well, my Do it Yourself Marketing month has come to an end. I really hope you have enjoyed the over 20 articles and guides I have posted over the past month to help anybody out there tackle marketing their brands. If there is one thing I hope people are able to take away from this series of articles is the fact that you don’t need a fancy degree or a million dollar budget to sell your products or yourself to the public. All you really need is just a little creativity.
So this is what I want from you, please feel free to post your feedback (in the comments) about the past month’s articles here! I would love to hear what you have to say and what you might like to see more of in the future.

Believe it or not, email marketing can still be an effective tool to use when it comes to getting the word out about your products. Now, unsolicited email marketing has left a bad taste in all of our mouths, however marketing your goods and services to people who have asked for updates can be a fantastic way to bring new eyeballs to your website or keep people informed of what you are doing.

You have heard it a countless number of time, "Just because everybody else is doing it – does not mean you have to do it too". I think every once of us was told this by a mother, a brother, a sister, an aunt, uncle or grandparent while we were growing up. The same thing can be said when it comes to your marketing strategy. Just because Company A, Company B, and Company C is doing it – that does not mean you have to follow the same marketing trend. Stand out!
Once of the oldest forms of marketing out there, may still be the best. Word of mouth is a phrase you hear a lot when it comes to advertising or marketing a product, because it is one of the best ways to get your products known. It is when person A suggests to person B they should try something out.
In the world of business, there are several aggressive marketing strategies you can try, to see which might work best for your situation. The risk and reward might vary, depending on how assertive you want to be.
