With my recent surge of Mega Man 10 desktop icons I’ve created, I figured it was about time I say down and reviewed this wonderful game. Mega Man 10 is everything you know and love about the old 8-bit classic, and will keep you happy if you like to punish yourself by playing a level over and over again.
We have done this Mega Man song and dance before. Something bad happens, Mega Man has to fight eight robot masters, and well, you know the drill. This time around though, you can also play as Proto Man right from the start – so that gives you almost the feeling of two games in one.
Thus far I have only beat one of the Robot Masters, and I’m still in that, “learning” phase with all the levels. There is no hand-holding with this game, and it will take a certain level of skill and memorization to get through every single course.
Sure, there is an easy mode – which I haven’t tried yet, because… well, who is going to admit they beat the game on easy? Really?
Overall, Mega Man 10 is well worth spending $10 on. If the game alone is not enough the keep you busy, the variety of difficulties, challenges and soon to come downloadable content should be.
