RSSA = Really Simply Syndicate Anything

RSS feeds are extremely handy when it comes to keeping up with the latest and greatest updates from a web site. However, even today, there are still some web sites that are feed-less.  To help you track those web sites out there, we have RSSA, Really Simply Syndicate Anything.

All you do is enter the web site URL into the text box, and hit submit.  You will then be given several options on which content you would like to grab. This web site also comes in handy if you don’t know how to create a feed – but you think you need one for your visitors.

Check out the many more reasons on why you should create  a feed, and then get started with this online tool today.

Get Your Own Casket from Walmart.com?

Caskets from Walmart?

Just in time for Halloween, how would you like to get a casket?  Filed under the really weird things you can get from Walmart – we have the Lady de Guadalupe casket.  Yes, apparently you can order a number of caskets from Walmart.com.  Think ranks up there in the weirdness level of the gallon of whole milk from Amazon.com.

New Layout for MitchKeeler.com

New MitchKeeler.com Layout and Design

One thing I was able to get started on this weekend, and finished up just a few minutes ago was the new layout for MitchKeeler.com.  Being the most static of the bunch, MitchKeeler.com doesn’t just serve as my online resume – oh no.  It is the place to go if you want to know more about what it is I do, and how to get in touch with me.  More updates to come to that web site (as soon as I find that mysterious 25th hour in the day) so stay tuned, and let me know what you think of the new re-design thus far!

Mitch and the Mustang

The New Mitch-mobile

So for now something a little different, I wanted to share with you all my new car – a 2002 Ford Mustang.  I hear by call it the new Mitch-mobile.  I’m not really much of a car nut myself, however I have always liked Mustangs – so having my own now, I am more than a little jazzed.  Also got to give thanks to both my big sister and bro-in-law for getting me hooked up at an amazing price.

PS: I know I’ve been a little slow with the site updates as of late.  Been a little sick the past two weeks – however I’ve gotten it down to just a nagging cough so should be back up to 100% soon.

Your Twitter Shoutbox

Jotable Shoutbox in Action I always like looking at ways to add new user functionality to any web site out there, and Jotabl does provide that. How so?  By the power of Twitter (not to be confused with the power of Greyskull) it gives you a free embeddable shoutbox for your web site.

Once the shoutbox is added to your site, messages can be posted in it two different ways.  Your users can include the URL to the shoutbox in their tweet, and Jotabl will pick this up and place it in your shoutbox.  Users can also leave a message by signing into the box via Twitter, with the option to have the message tweeted for them.

You also can remove message and block certain Twitter users if they get too crazy with the shoutbox postings.  Now Jotabl doesn’t re-invent the Web, however it does provide a neat feedback interface for your users.  Give it a shot shout at jotable.com.

Get Your Daily Yodel

Emergency Yodel

Sticking with the recent “instant” sound effect ‘kick I’m in, I have another one of my favorite sound effect sites to share with you.  The Emergency Yodel should only be used, well – in the case of an emergency, of course.  Brought to you by Archie McPhee, (the same one who brought you the inflatable turkey and handerpants) this web site gives you that yodel your just itching to hear.  What, you don’t have uncontrollable urges to hear random yodeling?  In that case, you are just a little odd, my friend.

Maybe, I could interest you in some instant Billy Mays instead?

Always be ready for miracle, a great thing to happen, or a choir singing hallelujah because you did something great with InstantHallelujah.com.  All you have to do is click the button (you have the choice of the long or short version, depending on the greatness that is going on) and be ready next time the unthinkable happens.

It’s a Trap!

image

Going into my favorite sound effect web sites hall of fame today is InstantTrap.com.  In the same spirit as the drama button or Muwhahaha.com, this web site lets you warn you friends, family members and co-workers of the impending danger that is upon them.

I have no idea why or how this became such a popular Internet meme, but it is a fun one – I’ll give you that. Just think, if it wasn’t for Admiral Ackbar (not to be confused with Skandor Akbar) we would know it really was a trap.

Ninja-like Domain Name Search

Fast Domain Name Search How would you like to search for domain names as fast as a ninja does?  Now, sure I don’t know many ninjas that spend a lot of time doing domain name searches, but that isn’t the point.  The point is Ajaxdom has a cool tag line for a domain name lookup too, and I’m going to take advantage of it.

Claiming to be the world’s fastest domain name lookup tool is a pretty big claim to make. I do have to say though, that Ajaxdom is pretty darn fast.  How fast?  Well, you didn’t just see that ninja jump down, make bunny ears behind your head and disappear in a puff of smoke, did you?  It is that fast.

You can search for .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name, .us, .ca, or .uk domain names.  Here is an example of what the results look like:

Search for Different Domain Extensions

Damn, my plan to grab Mitch.something is always foiled!  There goes my birthday present (you know it is only five days away, right?)  Shameless birthday mentions aside, Ajaxdom is a fast domain name search lookup that might be well worth your time if your in a hurry to find that perfect domain name to use on your next big web site project.
