Web Hosts Need Viral Videos

Now there is no doubt that launching a neat video on the Web is a good way to get attention. The question is, why aren’t more Web hosts doing it? Searching through YouTube there are only a handful of Web hosts that have tried to go down this route. A few of them look like they might have made out big as well.

At the time of me writing this, this average (a little boring for my tastes) video has gotten 89,927 views. Web hosts, that could be more than “just a few” new accounts. Now I’m off to go search for a female mascot/spokesperson for the Web Hosting Show. Any volunteers?

i agree i wonder why more hosts don’t do this. seems like it would be easy and simple to set up. that girl there isn’t even that pretty.

Hey Bob, yeah I agree. I even posted a few videos for the Web Hosting Show on YouTube. I’ve had a few people come in because of that too. No 80,000+ views but nothing to sneeze at. :)
