Outsourcing Your Support Needs

Is it a good thing when a Web hosting company starts to get rid of their workers in the United States to replace them with cheaper labor from overseas?

Of course not! I do have some good friends that live overseas and that are in the Web hosting world as well. Those are not the folks I am mad at. I am mad at the big hosting companies tossing perfectly good system admins out on the street and then going to these overseas sweat shops to find a replacement.

Now I don’t think this is as big of a problem as it used to be – but it is still going on. Companies outside of the USA are doing it as well. Computer companies are the worst offenders when it comes to these practices.

Hosting Support

This is the last of my Web hosting comic series for now. If you have enjoyed those that I have posted in the past and this one as well, please let me know. In other words, leave a comment man! I would love to continue if you want me to.
