Maybe this is just the cheap white boy coming out in me, but I think that paying $300 for a “Complete Conference CD Set” of Hostingcon 2006 is a little nuts. I’m not even sure I would pony up that much cash to go to the conference in person – let alone to hear it all on CD.
Want a cheap alternative? Go check out the Web Hosting Show podcast. There is more free audio and interviews there than you can shake a stick at. I won’t even charge you a penny to go listen to them.
To cut the Hostingcon guys a little credit, it does look like they have uploaded a free podcast for everybody to enjoy.

Mitch,
Please keep in mind that the price you quoted is for the whole program on CD, which is 32 CDs. We do make individual tracks available for a lower price as well as each individual session available. For those that just want to pick up the audio for a couple sessions they missed it’s pretty reasonable at $15 per session.
[...] Well, it looks like the head honcho of Hostingcon noticed my comments about the Hostingcon CDs being a little over priced. This is what George Roberts had to say.
