Mitch got Yahoo! Mail Beta

Yeah, I finally was let in on the secret and gained access to the new Yahoo! Mail Beta. So far, I have to say I am impressed with it and I do think I’ll like the final product over what they are delivering right now. You see, I use Yahoo! Mail as my default mail client for all my domains, so I should be the perfect person to tell Yahoo! what they are doing right and wrong.

One feature I really like is the ability to check all my mail accounts by just hitting a button or by hitting Shift+m on the keyboard. Via Yahoo! Mail’s old interface, I’d have to check these all one by one.

One feature I’d like to see them add is folders for RSS feeds. I like where they are going with the RSS feeds built into the Web page, but I have a LOT of RSS feeds to go through. Yahoo! is really going to have to make a lot of improvements with the RSS section if they expect me to leave FeedDemon.

With that said though, it looks very promising and I think I’ll be sticking with Yahoo! Mail as long as they keep up the good work.
