Well today marks a pretty big milestone in my writing career. I have been with Lockergnome for exactly one year. It has been one great year, with hopefully many more to come. Life before Lockergnome was pretty bleak looking at best. I had just left my last Web hosting job, and was just about to call the writing career dead and buried before I gave Lockergnome a shot.
What can I say Lockergnome has helped me accomplish in one year? Well, I know have a voice that many more people can and do hear on a daily basis. I wrote and sold my first book (Lockergnome’s Guide to Web Hosting) all about the wild and wacky world of Web hosting. Last but not least, the Web Hosting Show podcast was greatly inspired by the folks at Lockergnome and Chris Pirillo’s own technology show.
I just want to give a big thanks to a few folks that have made me feel right at home at Lockergnome. Chris, Ponzi, Bob, Matt, Brandon, Meka and Jeff have really helped me along the way. Thank you!
Well that is as sappy as you are going to be able to get me! To those who might feel a little hurt because they weren’t mentioned, don’t feel bad. After writing for Lockergnome for a year my fingers are a little tired.
