Alright, hopefully I have gotten your attention.
I have my fair share of projects coming up and going past me just about every single day. There is not enough to really make a separate post about each one so I thought I would lump everything together. Think of it as your gravy and mashed potato volcano of goodness.
First things first, I had another article in the newest edition of Ping! Zine. What was my topic of discussion this month? Why the Web hosting world needs more bloggers.
It is a more in-depth version that the one I wrote via this blog a few months ago. I went a little further with a few ideas and hopefully it will be entertaining and informative for all who reads. Ping! Zine is a totally free Web hosting magazine. If you are interested in getting it, go ahead and do so! It doesn’t cost you a penny and the information to be gained is too great to miss out on. It even seems like I have gained some appreciation via the Ping! Zine forums as well.
In other news, I just finished up my first article for The Web Host Industry Review. That should be posted pretty soon. I have also been doing some voice over work for the WHIR TV. Listen for me on last week’s show! I never would have imagined being a “voice over” artist. Guess that is one more thing I can add to my resume as well. Thank you podcasting!
Speaking of podcasting, the interview I did with Vito Ceniti (of DemoDemo.com) is up and running on The Web Hosting Show’s Web site. It was one of my favorite interviews to date, so if you haven’t listened to it yet, go do so now. I am always looking for folks to have a Web hosting conversation with. Now a few days ago, I mentioned getting an Audio Blog account. I am a big fan of what they do there and I think they have the best tools around to get the job done. What job am I looking to get done? Well how about a few more audio and video posts here. Nothing too snazzy, just some fun and quick clips. I am also thinking about doing a once a week or once a month, “Web Hosting Video Tip” for The Web Hosting Show. I have the audio Web hosting world covered, why should video be left out? If you have any ideas about this or want to give me a little inspiration, just leave a comment here or drop me an E-mail.
If you have or haven’t been able to tell, this blog has moved away from what it was suppose to be. There is nothing wrong with that, but it has evolved past just a Web hosting article database and into my media hub. This is pretty the heart of my Internet life around here. So if a few of you are disappointed about the fact that this place has turned out to be less about Web hosting and more about me.. then I am sorry. For the rest of you out there, hope you enjoy some of the evolutionary states that shall come in the near future.
Expect to see my photography section of this blog to grow and evolve as well over the next few weeks.
As far as my organization problems, I’m going to try a new way of getting things done next week. I’ve given it some thought, reorganized how I do a few things and hopefully this will mean a more productive Mitch. Just think of me as Mitch 2.0! Just like the first one, but with more fun loving features.
