Well I had a nice week long writing break, and now I am totally refreshed and ready to get back to work. Well it might still be a few days before I am back up to 100 percent but I am getting there. Figured I’d just touch on a few of the high points of the last week.
Well, I did have to write one article last week, but I was more than happy to do so. The article in question is for Ping! Zine. I’ll be sure to post later on this week about my continued relations with those fine folks.
I got a Yahoo! 360 account and I have been playing with it for some time now. I have some new pictures there as well, for all my female fans out there. I really like most of what it offers, but it is still lacking in a few areas. That’ll be another article to look forward to as I plan on writing up a full review of the service soon. The week before last I did a clean reinstall of Windows XP on this machine. It was really needing it. I go through a lot of junk programs, reformats and testing on this machine so at least once a year I like to just reformat and start over. If you are looking to speed up your computer, a Windows reinstall might be the thing to do. I have it down to an art now almost, just took me about 24 hours to get back to where I was as far as programs, files and all that stuff. This next week I plan on sharing with you a few of the programs I install first on a clean machine, and a new zipping program that has made me forget all about WinZip.
I was mentioned on last week’s edition of The Chris Pirillo Show! While he was doing the whole show with the Go To Meeting software, he stopped over at my Yahoo 360 Web page. I’ll be posting more about this later on this week as well. It was a really great show though, so if you missed out, shame on you!
I sent The Web Host Industry Review a few sample works for them to look at, as far as getting me on their staff as well. Personally, I’d be happy working on the Web site or the magazine. Wouldn’t it be cool though for me to be in both of the biggest Web hosting magazines out there today? I think it would be.
There will be no new episode of The Web Hosting Show this week, due to me still being on break this weekend. Do not worry though! I’ve posted some of the past episodes and interviews all on one Web page so you, your mother, heck your grandmother can listen to some of our past broadcasts. If you have missed a few episodes or haven’t listened at all, this is the perfect time to play catch up. I have totally redesigned my own Web site, MitchKeeler.com and The Web Hosting Show’s Web site as well. Please go take a look and let me know what you think. As you can see I have started to drink the Google AdSense Kool-Aid. We will see how good AdSense is to a freak like me soon enough.
Other than that, things have been pretty normal around here. Lots to look forward to in the next few days and weeks ahead.
