I am a little stretched for time today, so instead of just writing about one topic or one thought bouncing around in my head I figured I would touch upon a few instead. Just think of it as more bang for your buck, well that is if you were paying for my services. Sound a little dirty? Well with the new AutoLink problems that might not be such a far off idea. Could we someday be living in a world where you have commercialized Web content one side, then “premium” Web content you pay to read that has no advertisements or “false advertising links” at all? I think it could, but we are still a ways off.

If Google wants to come up with a quick and easy solution to the AutoLink problem, I have it. Just create an opt-out list of Web sites that do not wish to have their content changed no mater what browser comes to it. Then every time somebody wants to use the feature, just have the toolbar contact home base and ask if the Web site they are wanting to AutoLink on is on the list. It is just that easy. These days though, it seems like more people are willing to innovate for the user rather than the provider.

Yahoo will have their 10th birthday tomorrow. That just makes me feel like an old man! Then again, I guess that would make me 12 years old when they started. Maybe I’m not so old after all.

The newest episode of The Web Hosting Show is up and running. I have to say that show number three was my favorite so far of the five that I have done. By now I figured I would have ran out of things to talk about, but I’m happy the wild and wacky world of Web hosting has been ripe with information these days.

The book previously known as “The Web Hosting Book” and now known as “Lockergnome’s Guide to Web Hosting” is now out as well. Have you picked up your copy?

I ordered Tekken 5 over the weekend, and it should be getting here today. I haven’t really been a big Tekken fan over the years. I was raised in the generation of Mortal Kombat fans fighting Street Fighter fans. Oh the good old days. Does anybody else remember the old battles that Super Nintendo fans and Sega Genesis fans used to have? It used to be like a religion, now if you don’t have more than one system then you are lame.. or a poor Internet columnist and author who writes about Web hosting. Not like I would mention any names though.

Well that is it for today. Make sure you mark your calendars and listen to The Chris Pirillo Show this Thursday. You might hear an update from a surprise contributor on the show.
